The latest figures come after Bitcoin climbed above $87,000 earlier this week, reaching an eight-month high as institutional buying, exchange-traded fund inflows and improved investor sentiment supported the cryptocurrency’s recovery.
Bitcoin ETF inflows accelerate
Institutional demand remains an important driver of the cryptocurrency market’s recent performance.
According to Farside Investors , U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted $714.7 million in net inflows on September 22, following approximately $999 million on September 21, the largest single-day inflow in 11 months.
BlackRock’s IBIT recorded $350.3 million in inflows during Tuesday’s session, while Fidelity’s FBTC attracted $257.4 million. Morgan Stanley’s Bitcoin fund added $99 million.
The sustained inflows highlight continued institutional participation despite uncertainty surrounding U.S. monetary policy and the broader macroeconomic outlook.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s September 17 innovation exemption introduced temporary, conditional regulatory relief for certain venues trading tokenized U.S. stocks, adding another development to the evolving digital asset regulatory environment.
